The Campus

The American International School of Rotterdam is located on a new campus in the Northeastern part of the city of Rotterdam. The AISR purpose built facility and campus for 500 students was completed in April, 1995 and the school became part of Rotterdam's International Education Center (IEC). The AISR facilities include 43 classrooms, 3 science labs, computer center, 2 art rooms, a library, sports complex, cafeteria and a classroom for domestic science.

The International Educational Center is composed of two parts: AISR and JSR. JSR is the Japanese School of Rotterdam who use a portion of the building's facilities. Common areas are shared by both schools. There is a cooperative spirit in the IEC. AISR and JSR sharing the same facility has brought a unique dimension to the term international education.
AISR has a full canteen serving hot meals or cold snacks for your children throughout the day.
The School provides a door-to-door bus service throughout the school year and facilitates transportation to and from after school activities.

Healthcare

The school has a full-time medical officer to ensure the health and safety of your children while they are studying or playing sports.
