The American International School of Rotterdam (AISR) is a private school for the benefit of the expatriate community and those local residents looking for an "international education" for there children . Currently students from over 29 nations attend AISR. Most of the students are members of families who have come to the Rotterdam area to work in the various international corporations located here. About 15% of the students are members of families associated with various government organizations both local and international. The four largest national groups represented in the student population are American, Dutch, Korean and Japanese. Those four national groups make up about 60% of the student body while the other 40% of the student body is made up of students from 25 other nations. |
