The academic environment of the American International School of Rotterdam is focused on the development of the whole child and draws upon the best educational practices from North America and the rest of the world. The standards and benchmarks that AISR draws upon are those established by the International Baccalaureate Organization, our work with Project AERO, The Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development in the United States.
The curriculum provides a balanced instructional program in the core academics of Literacy, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies along with comprehensive instruction in Art, Foreign Language (Dutch, French, Spanish), Information Technology, Music and Physical Education.
