Trip Week takes place every September and is a valuble opportunity for high school students to get out and explore the broader European environment.
Grades Nine and Ten will alternate visits between Berlin, Germany, and Normandy, France. Normandy is the destination for 2010. The students will stay in Caen and visit the beaches that saw the Allies of WW2 invade mainland Europe as well as the cultural highlights of this beautiful French region.
The students of the following year will take a train to the capital city of Germany, Berlin. World History is an important part of their Social Studies class and Berlin is a rich source of historical reference, having been at the epicenter of two world wars and the subsequent cold war era. Students also have time to visit various artistic and cultural sites during this excursion.

Students in Grade Eleven head to London, England. They begin their five day experience with a ferry ride across the English channel and then a train into London.
The Globe Theater and other important parts of the life and writings of William Shakespeare form the core of this excursion. Additionally, the London trip offers opportunities for students to explore the various world class science, cultural and historic museums London offers.
Our Twelfth Grade students have planned and organized their own trip. Under supervision of the school's trip coordinator they choose a destination and topics to study. The Seniors this year are going to Dubrovnik, Croatia.
The turbulent history of the Balkans will be the focus of their study. Having students from all over the world has certainly helped select what should be a fascinating and worthwhile destination and has also provided the group with a student who is a 'local expert' on their trip.
