 The school provides a unique door-to-door transportation service for students in Pre-Kindergarten 2 (4 years) through Grade 12.
The Parents of students in Pre-Kindergarten (3 years of age)
are encouraged to bring and collect their child/children. Should this not be
possible, parents are requested to contact the school to explore the potential
of transportation. These requests will be dealt with on an individual basis.
To ensure the safety of our students and provide an efficient transportation service, the School Board has adopted the following policies. All school buses and contracted buses will have seat belts for student safety. Students must have seat belts fastened at all times and must obey the directions of the driver. Buses will also only carry the number of passengers for which the bus was designed. The prime concern of the school is safe transport to and from school to the child's residence.
The school establishes the bus routes. As much as possible, the routes will provide the most efficient, safe and timely transport.
At the time of registration, transportation may be requested. At this time, parents should complete the Application for School Provided Transportation.
Transportation is provided for students to allow for after school activities. Students desiring transportation will be charged 100% of fee in established area, morning only is 60% of fee in established area, and afternoon only is 70% of fee in established area. Transportation fees are refundable, however due to the scheduling of the service with an outside agency and the efficient routing, the refunds do not translate to a per diem basis.
