| Name: |
Carsten |
| Profile:: |
Carsten, the Rookie JV goalkeeper had his hands full in the first game of the season, he denied Antwerp their opening goal with a quick reaction save. Carsten had to remain aware throughout the first half, as Antwerp came on the attack repeatedly and the Shark's defense took a while to to organize themselves. It was during the opening minutes of the second half that Carsten produced his best saves, not only frustrating Antwerp attackers but building the Shark's confidence in their number one. In the last minutes of the game Antwerp were shooting less, however every time Carsten was called into action he received applause from the parents watching from the sideline. At the final whistle Carsten came off the field to congratulations from the crowd, Antwerp's trainer and players as well as thanks from his shark team mates.

| Name: |
Brian |
| Profile:: |
Brian has emerged as Mr. Versatility on the AISR JV softball team. Not only does he have the ability to play any position on the field, but more importantly, he has the willingness. His frame of mind is: ‘put me anywhere you want, coach – where you think it will help the team most – and I’ll do the best I can.’ In the most recent games, Brian has performed admirably at third-base, shortstop, first-base, and now, pitcher. The team was in desperate need of a second pitcher for the upcoming NECIS tournament, and although he had never done it before, Brian stepped forward and up to the challenge. This kind of fearless and selfless attitude allows the Sharks to deploy a diverse defensive attack, and along with increased production from Brian and the rest of the team at the plate, the Sharks are poised to make a run at the NECIS championship.

Julian and Alejandro |

The under 12 boys basketball Alejandro and Julian are members of the Under 12 boys basketball team. Both players set an example for the rest of the team members. They work hard in practice and lead the team in games. Julian's fantastic dribbling skills combined with Alejandro's ability to drive to the basket make it difficult for the opposition to defend them. Julian, our team captain is getting very good at controlling the speed of the game, taking things more slowly and allowing our team to play in a calm way. Alejandro is our leading scorer, when we really need a basket or a rebound we can count on Alejandro to make something happen. Although both players are strong offensive players, they do equally well playing defense. In every game Julian and Alejandro always guard the other teams top players, and they always do a good job.
