Your child can also bring in a packed lunch from home. This should include healthy options, including a sandwich, fruit and/or vegetables, and a drink (sweets, chips, chocolate, cookies, and soft drinks aren’t allowed).

While our Year 1-13 students have lunch in the cafeteria, our Foundations children eat in their classroom, where they practice their table manners and socialise with friends.

Snacks

Students should bring a snack and a drink for their morning recess. We ask that you provide healthy options, like fruit, granola bars, or carrot sticks, along with juice, water, or milk to drink.

Cafeteria FAQs

How can I purchase a lunch subscription for my child?

You can do this online here >>>

What happens if my child is absent?

Any unplanned absences for which you have already paid and subscribed, will roll over. Catermaat will review the balance on your account at designated periods throughout the year and then reconcile any differences in the amount paid and the number of lunches taken.

What if my child only wants one or two meals per week?

The recommendation is to buy the Daily Choice Subscription, then you can indicate which days you would like after viewing the monthly menu.

Why can't my child choose in the morning every day?

In order to guarantee fresh and healthy meals the food needs to be ordered in advance and this requires planning.

My child is a picky eater. What are my options?

With either the daily or monthly subscriptions, you can review the menu with your child and decide which days he/she would like the warm meal. Write the desired days in the comments section (e,.g., Sept 5, 11, 24, 30).

If I pay for a monthly subscription for a warm meal but there a few days when my child wants a bread meal instead, how does this work?

They can substitute for a bread meal at the counter or you can write it in the comments section (e.g., warm meal every day except the 15th of September).

If I know that my child wants mostly warm meals, what should I sign up for?

If your child is mostly going to choose warm meals (meat or veggie), then select the monthly subscription. If there is a particular day she really doesn't want the warm meal, it is possible to substitute for the bread meal.

What if I am having trouble with the online ordering or have any payment questions?

Please contact Catermaat directly for support (naisr@catermaat.nl)

What if I forget to subscribe in time?

We will always make sure your child eats something for lunch.

Contact the front office (frontoffice@naisr.nl) if you need any help or have any questions.

Why are the prices different for Early Years/Foundation students and Primary/Secondary students?

The Early Years/Foundation students receive a smaller portion and only eat lunch at school 4 days per week.
