The PTSA plays an active role at AISR by striving to enrich the scholastic experience of our students and to foster a familial atmosphere within our international community. We are a group of parents, teachers and students who work together to support existing programs for our children, as well as to organize social events and activities for the school community at large. Income generated by our various events assists in funding educational programs and purchasing special ‘wish list’ items for the school.
General meetings are held throughout the year to discuss and plan events such as the Welcome Picnic, the International Potluck Dinner/Craft Fair, the Annual Dinner Dance/Silent Auction and Spring Fair/Fun Run, to name a few. Every parent is automatically a member of the PTSA, but those interested in becoming actively involved are invited to join one or more of the organizing committees for our events and activities.
The PTSA recognizes the vital importance of its members’ support and participation, whether it be through attendance at school events or by volunteering time, effort and energy to make these events a success. AISR benefits greatly from the longstanding tradition of parents who willingly share the wealth of their diverse experiences and ideas. The PTSA welcomes you to join us in our efforts to be of service to the entire AISR community.
